Opening Reflection

There are truths someone keeps sealed not to protect anyone, but to keep power. What festers in silence seeps into your days: a sour film on every conversation, a bruise on trust. You are not the vault for their decay. This mirror rite is a hard return—no harm forward, just consequence back. You stop carrying the stink of what they buried and send it to the lungs that chose to inhale it first. Let exposure do its clean work.

Invocation

May what was hidden turn bitter on the tongue that hid it.

Method

Sit alone with a small hand mirror and a pinch of salt. Dim the room; one candle is enough. Rest the mirror against your heart and breathe in for four, out for six, three times. Name the concealed thing out loud in plain language. No story, no softening—just the fact and the harm it caused.

Lift the mirror to your own eyes. Say, 'I release my duty to hold your rot.' Feel your chest unclench. Then turn the mirror away from you, aimed toward the person who hid the truth. Speak the invocation once, slowly.

With each exhale, imagine thick, dark spores leaving your mouth, fogging the glass, then snapping back through it to their throat. Repeat this return sentence three times: 'What you conceal, you consume.' Keep breathing sharp and steady until your body signals done—heat in your palms, a clear mouth, or a quiet drop in anger.

Seal the working by wiping the mirror with salt water, wrapping it in dark cloth, and taking it out of your home. Do not look into it again.

Closure & Aftercare

Drink a full glass of water and wash your hands and face. Open a window or step into night air until your breathing feels ordinary again. If thoughts loop, place a hand on your sternum and remind yourself: their secrecy is no longer in your body. You returned what was never yours to metabolize. Let your home and your sleep be clean of that burden.

Safety Notes

Big feelings can surge after this. Ground with food, music, or a trusted voice, and pause if you feel overwhelmed.
